Hosted at the Neenah Menasha YMCA, we have classes for kids, families, and adults.There is nothing more rewarding for us to see kids and their parents learn new skills and have fun together!
An Olympic Sport since 1964
Judo is an international olympic sport that teaches lifelong skills and personal qualities that reflect the teachings of judo's founder, Dr. Jigoro Kano.Not only do judoka learn to master physical and mental skills, they enjoy the benefits of physical fitness and mental resilience.
Classes
Our classes are hosted at the Neenah Menasha YMCA, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, starting with the kids & families' class and followed by the adults' class.Our Tuesdays classes are for beginners, and our Thursday classes for more advanced students.Students with prior judo experience are welcome to inquire about our advanced classes. Tournaments
Our advanced classes include specific training for kids and adults seeking to compete at tournaments.Many of our kids and adults participate in tournaments within Wisconsin, the US, and even internationally.Several of our members have been state, national and international champions.One of our instructors, Katie Sell, was a member of the US Olympic team!
